Texaco Fire Chief gas pump is the one that was in the TV series “11/22/63, ” a Stephen King story about a person trying to prevent the John F. It was in several scenes along with a Tokheim 39 Fire Chief pump. I have all the paperwork to support its provinence. It will also be appearing in the upcoming TV series, “American Gods, ” a story written by Neil Gaiman. The pump is located in Hamilton, Ontario. This pump has been -dismantled, cleaned, sanitized, -aluminum and stainless steel bright work professionally buffed -inner frame painted, -all steel panels sand blasted to bare metal, -panels adjusted by a professional auto body shop, -exterior panels phosphate dipped then POWDER COATED inside and out -pump rewired with ceramic sockets, new bulbs, new light switch and all new heavy duty wiring. Globe, register face, and ad glass all light up with multiple bulbs on board. PORCELAIN logo plates on both of the doors (NOT vinyl stickers) -new Canadian made stainless steel and brass bolts used in reassembly (no rusty bolts) -aluminum I. Tags on the body, -new I. Plate (and you get the original ID tag as well for your records) I use as many original parts as possible so the pump shows a hint of its heritage and history, and the pump doesn’t look like a fake reproduction. These pumps are also suitable for the outdoors, and because they’re powder coated, the colours stay true for decades, and even the red stays RED, and there’s never any paint peeling, chipping, fading, or cracking. Take a look at my other listings. There will be several more very rare items being made available in the coming weeks. These will be especially interesting to anybody finishing off a hot rod, antique, classic, or rat rod. Electroline headlights, several pairs of E&J headlights, a complete ARDUN head setup, prototype flathead intakes, prototype Fenton valve covers for small block Ford, Magnetos, heads, drop axles, exhaust manifolds, beehive oil filters, etc. The item “Stephen King Tokheim 39 Gas Pump, Texaco Sky Chief restored in powder coat” is in sale since Tuesday, July 05, 2016.
