The one in the 12 pics is the exact item you will receive if you have the winning offer; your chance to own a piece of historya gorgeous attention -getter for sure. Beautiful red coloring of lettering and the fire helmet. Sizing 18tall x 12 wide. The sign I understand is from the 40s (info I learned online -it was part of my fathers personal collection{his story attached :addendum}) has several prominent rust places on front side particularly around the 4 hanging holes on top and bottom (side 2 not as much) worse for display on top-R hole. There is also a rustic spot almost directly in middle of sign interestingly corresponding on back yet I find no opening or hole all the way thru there. Back side has much wear brown discoloring rustic corr places on the edges appears to be red paint spatterings as well (see 12 picas for specific) there is some dust from years of it hanging in dads shop -I chose not to try cleaning any of his items before sale leaving that to the ones who know what they are doing. Some of the darkening on back is dust dirt that may or may not be able to be cleaned off. Check it out and see if this is the perfect one for your collectionoverall I think its a beautiful sign (there are many hanging in here I cant say that for lol) thanks so much for looking. Background on Listing: My Dads Collection. As stated earlier, it belonged to my Fatherhere is a little bit about his history. He traveled all over the US to shows/conventions; he never seen a flea market or yard sale he wouldnt at least stop at for a few minutes. He spent much time up and down the East Coast- – and if youve been a collector in this long, there is a good chance youve met or possibly knew him. He had one built that he lost in one of the big floods. He regrouped and started again. He finally had a new shop (the 2nd one) built, ready, and had almost filled it with collectibles. The doors never officially open. Dad unexpectedly passed away with his hopes and dreams never realized. Now all of what I call Dads stuff is really mine. (I collect sports items and comics//I know how important my items arriving in the condition I bought and in timely manner is). If you need more pictures or you have any questions dont hesitate to shoot me a message. And if you are interested in more or any other kind of antiques// vintage collectibles give me a follow as their are so many items to list in the future I dont know where to begin honestly. For now take this listing off my hands thanks for your interest, and thanks for looking and reading, and big THANK you for helping be pay off this student debt.
