1950s Texaco Wolverine Toys Gas Pump w/Original Porcelain Pump Sign. This is a toy Texaco Fire Chief Gas Pump from the line of Texaco themed toys in the 50s & 60s by Wolverine. Everything works as it should, including the bell, hose and gallon register. On the backside is shelving that is a great place to store other gas & oil related toys. The best part about this toy pump is it has an original porcelain Fire Chief sign on the front where the original decal has worn off. The former Texaco employee, who I was fortunate to get this from, actually replaced the label with a hard to find mini pump sign 12 x 8. Any petroliana collector knows how hard it is just to find the pump sign. He also added the Contains Lead sign on the side and used flat head screws for more authenticity.
