TEXACO GAS ROOF SIGN- RARE COUNTRY STORE/ GAS STATION VINTAGE ORIGINAL OLD 18 FT. This FABULOUS sign, a true historical piece of Roadside Americana was removed from an old country store/ gas station. The sign may have been from around the 1920s or 30s perhaps, although the structure dates back to possibly the late 1800s. I do have photos of the structure showing this roof sign still attached to the building before demolition. The underneath rafters are still intact behind the unit. The sign was removed, then beautifully framed using the salvage wood from the structure. It appears to be a lovely patina d weathered oak. Its approximately 18 ft. Long x 7-1/2 ft. The wood can be trimmed down further if need be. It weighs about 800 lbs. Fits in my garage like a glove! Perfect for your display at home, bar, restaurant, craft brewery, man cave, barn, airplane hanger, car museum, etc. The sign will easily transport as any vehicle would on a flatbed trailer, toy hauler, etc. We were able to use a simple 3ft. Movers dolly in order to roll it up my driveway, though youll need 4-5 individuals in order to maneuver it upon arrival. Please feel free to ask any questions. Preserve American roadside history!
