ORIGINAL 1947 TEXACO Gas & Oil Fire Chief Pump Plate Porcelain Sign, Helmet. This is estate fresh found in Albany, NY earlier last year. The last 3 photos are how we found it before it was cleaned. This is overall in excellent condition. We cleaned with natural spray cleaner only, the last 3 photos show how we found it dirty and some paint on edges. The front near the tail of the helmet and near the front of the helmet show a slight discoloration in the white porcelain. The back show some minor marks in the porcelain. Still has some paint on edges in some spots. It measures 12″ x 18″.
