Up for sale is a rare original visible gas pump metal price sign holder. It is embossed with TEXACO down both sides. Made by Martin and Schwartz Buffalo, NY. Which is engraved on the bottom, but it is very hard to see under the old paint. It is probably from the 1930’s. The metal box is about 10 inches long, 7 inches tall and 1 inch wide. Plus the bracket which extends out an additional 6 inches. The top latches on and off. The box does have a lot of wear to the paint as well as surface rust and pitting. The piece is very solid and could easily be sandblasted and repainted. The original glass is missing from it, but that is also a simple fix. Also included are 22 original cardstock price signs. The two that are in the worst condition are seen inside the holder. The other 20 are seen in the last two pictures. The signs are about 9.5 inches long and 6.25 inches wide. They have some wear and discoloration from use. Overall this is a great piece to use as is or restore. Please review the pictures. Let me know if you have any questions.
